My mother-in-law had surgery for her cancer today. We're told things went well and that it was smaller than they had originally thought. So yay! Good news. Still not out of the water but at least the water isn't boiling.
Diva knows how to moo. Well, it isn't perfect but you can tell that she's trying to moo. She got this squishy cow keychain at the children's museum in Indianapolis and it's her new fave. When we would shove her in the car on our trip I kept giving it to her and mooing several times to make her smile and then when we were in the airport waiting for our flight home she started mimicking me. Do other 9 month olds moo? I feel this is grounds for early MENSA membership but perhaps I'm jumping the gun a little, eh? I need to post tons of pictures here and there and everywhere as well as order prints of about a million photos.
I don't know if I've talked about it but I printed all of my wedding photos from Mpix.com and they have amazing professional quality photos for very reasonable prices. I have always loved photography and hate to see a beautiful picture suffer from low quality printing. My plan is to print every photo of Mike that I can dig up and put them all over the house so that Diva is so used to seeing his face on a daily basis that she never questions that he is a part of her life. But this means that I need to search the planet for picture frames that I don't hate and that is a full day in and of itself. Each project I tackle seems to spawn fifteen new ones.
My father and I replaced the toilet in my main floor bathroom last night. It was a very interesting process but not one that most people would care to do very often. Kind of a pain in the ass. Now I have three pieces of a pink toilet in my shed that might end up staying there until spring with the broken tv. I'm classy like that.
